The Skin Vertex add-on is again primarily made for Random Flow allowing you to quickly generate basemeshes you can transform to organic or hard surface models.

As shown in Figure 1, even with a largely unedited basemesh, combining this with Random Flow with its operators like Random Loop Extrude and Random Panels lets you create detailed models with ease.

This method will let you fill your scene with high fidelity background assets while your hero model remains the focus of the render.

While a very powerful tool for concept art, you can of course use this for other avenues like games or movies. It all depends on your ability to modify your workflow and take advantage of what these tools is giving you.
